our process
-
An initial phone call and site visit is arranged to introduce the studio and decipher the scope of work. A formal proposal is then submitted.
-
First, we listen. We harvest as much information as possible: a client’s aspirations, their priorities and their aesthetic preferences as well as their dislikes. We also talk through the floorplans and the target timeframe and budgets – this initial consultation phase sets the framework and parameters for the entire project.
-
Interior design is an evolving process, and it starts here. This initial presentation is a visual interpretation of your brief, which develops the identity or ‘design DNA’ of the project.
-
More focused design work broken down by space to include details on hard finishes, architectural features, kitchens, bathrooms and room layouts. This is then presented to the client using a series of moodboards and sample trays.
-
Incorporating feedback from the earlier design phases, we evolve the design into final schemes ready for implementation, including technical drawings, schedules and electrical layouts.
-
We are used to working within a wider team and pride ourselves on our efficiency, communication and time keeping. We work to tight schedules and are always respectful of budgets and programmes. Regular site visits allow us to review work in person and to help with any problem solving during the project.
-
(Furniture, fittings and equipment): We procure all furniture and decorative fittings and oversee supplier management and deliveries. Items are kept safe in storage (having been carefully quality checked) until installation.
-
Once site is ready, the furniture, accessories and artwork are installed. We oversee the hanging and positioning of all items.
